Moving to "Cruise Control"

This past summer was a whirlwind for me and Echoes of Thunder. Between creating music, editing endless reels, and keeping engagement alive across platforms, I felt the burnout creeping in. It was rewarding, but exhausting and I realized I needed to take a step back.

So, for September, I’ve given myself permission to slow down. To focus on family, teaching, and just living outside of the constant push for content. Sometimes the best way to recharge creativity is to breathe for a while and let life catch up.

But make no mistake, the fire hasn’t gone out. In fact, the spark for what’s next is already burning. “Cruise Control” is the next big single, set for release in late 2025. It’s a song that feels different. It’s catchy, it moves, and it carries the empowerment-rock energy that’s become the core of Echoes of Thunder. Even in its early stages, the song feels like it could be one of the band’s strongest moments yet.

I’ve also been experimenting with new textures in the music. I've added strings and a orchestral feel to certain tracks. It’s a step forward in the sound, layering that stormy rock foundation with something bigger and more cinematic.

Whether or not I release another single before the end of this year will depend on how the music resonates with you — the Thunderheads. Your reactions, your messages, your energy, that’s what guides me. If the excitement builds, I’ll ride the wave. If not, I’ll hold steady and make sure the next full album, likely in 2026, is the most powerful and complete vision of Echoes of Thunder yet.

For now, I’m grateful. Grateful for the small but real fanbase that has grown around this project, for the way my family has embraced the music, and for the chance to keep creating on my own terms. The journey continues, sometimes at full speed, sometimes in cruise control but always moving forward.
